clip-in extensions

Clip-in extensions are extremely easy to apply, and ideal for for those who want longer or fuller-looking hair. With a few clips, and the swipe of a curling iron or flat iron, clip-in extensions transform your look with zero damage to your hair. While most clip-in's are made with inferior quality hair, mixed with plastics and other materials while claiming to be natural, Jolie Clip-ins are made with 100% virgin human hair, and can be straightened, curled, even dyed to your liking.

A set of Jolie Clip-ins contains 8 pieces specifically designed to blend with your natural hair. Also included in the package are instructions to clip them in. With Jolie Clip-In extensions, you 'll have the long, luxurious hair you've always wanted in minutes. Choose a length from 14" to 30" based on the length chart.

How To Install Jolie Clip-In Extensions:

1. Gather the Necessary Tools

Duck Clips                                   Rat Tail Comb                          Clip-in Wefts

2. Practice Opening and Closing the Clip

With the clip side of the piece facing you, put both thumbs on each side of the clip and the index fingers at the front side of the piece. Snap the clip open by applying pressure toward yourself with the index fingers. Similarly, close the clip by applying pressure away from yourself with the thumbs.

3. Separate the Hair

The clip-in extensions should be attached from the bottom up. Starting at the lowest point on the hairline, and using the tail comb or your index fingers, create a horizontal part where you wish to attach the first extension.

4. Clip Up the Hair Above the Part

Lift up all the hair above the part and clip it out of the way.

5. Put in the First Weft

Select the 6" weft and snap open all the clips.

The clips should be placed on your own hair below the part so that the top of the weft is even with the part. The middle clip should be placed first by locating at the middle of the nape. Place the clip on your own hair just below the part. Moving the clip downward, catch your own hair in the clip and snap it shut. Repeat with the right and left clip.

6. Check the Weft

Now that all three clips are attached, run your fingers along the weft to make sure it lies flat against your head along the entire width. If there are any gaps, correct this by snapping the clip open, lifting it off your hair and repositioning it so that the weft lays flat.

7. Put in the Rest of the Wefts

The next weft will be placed above the first weft, and so on. Release all the hair that was clipped out of the way. Then, about an inch above the weft that was just attached, make another part. Repeat steps 3-6 with the rest of the wefts.

Weft Order

6" nape of neck

9" at ear line

12" above temples

The five 3" wefts are meant to be attached to the sides of your head and to create fullness throughout.

It is not necessary to use the full set of extensions if you feel your hair looks full enough with just some of them.

8. Style and Go!

When all the wefts have been added, release your hair by removing any duck clips. Blend Jolie Clip-In Extensions into your hair. You may gently brush, curl, flat iron, and style as desired.

9. Removing the Wefts

To remove a weft, snap open all the clips and gently lift up and away from your hair. Never remove a weft without first opening all the clips. Pulling or tugging to remove a weft can result in damage to your own hair. To preserve the wefts, they must be removed nightly before sleeping.
